Story January, February and April 2012:
This time I went to
Genoa on a business trip and I brought with me a YAESU FT-817 and an ELECRAFT T1 Auto Tuner.

QTH:
Genoa - Italy
Position: 44° 25' 00" N,
8° 51' 15" E
Locator: JN44kk

Operating bands and modes January, February and April 2012
I
tryed from the Sheraton Hotel on the airport, but the noise levels was to high to hear even the strongest stations, because of this I packed up my radio gear and walked down to the longest pier on the harbour, hang up the halfwave dipole between two light poles and fired up the FT-817. I managed to work quite a few PSK-31 QSO's on 20 m.

Radio Equipment January, February and April 2012:

YAESU FT-817 160 m - 70 cm HF/VHF/UHF Multimode Transceiver
ELECRAFT T1 Auto Tuner
Half wave dipole

This time I went to Rome on a business trip and I brought with me a YAESU FT-817 and an ELECRAFT T1 Auto Tuner.

Operating bands and modes May and June 2010
I managed to work a few PSK-31 QSO's on 20 m. The antenna used this time was a Buddistick, which is a small multiband vertical that fits just about anywhere. Unfortunately the Buddistick does not have the same performance as my regular half wave dipole, thus limiting the number of QSO's made.

Radio Equipment May and June 2010:

YAESU FT-817 160 m - 70 cm HF/VHF/UHF Multimode Transceiver
ELECRAFT T1 Auto Tuner
Buddistick 20 m
Switch Mode PS 12 VDC - 4,5 A

Story February 2010:
I had to go to Genoa and Turin to do some work, unfortunately I didn't have room for HF-equipment in my luggage so the only radio i brought with me was an IC-E92D.
